Wave 3 refers to individual and highly tailored intervention which applies to a minority of children where wave 1 and 2 provisions have not had the desired outcome. 

These interventions may be delivered one-to-one or based on the recommendations of a specialist, such as and Educational Psychologist, Therapist or Specialist Teacher.
