Class Teacher required for Specialist Resource Base Teaching Position
Suitable for ECT/MPS/UPS
Start Date: ASAP or January 2024 Start
If you have a passion for working with children with SEND, then this may be the ideal position for you and the perfect opportunity to further develop the skills, knowledge and understanding required for this specialist role. Our Resource Base has recently expanded from 12 places to 36 places with a multi-designation including Cognition and Learning, Language and Communication, ASC and Physical Disability.
Allens Croft Primary School is a diverse, fully inclusive two-form entry school, with three Resource Bases, set in extensive grounds in the Kings Heath area of Birmingham. We are looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic teacher to join our team, with particular interests in SEND within Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has recent successful teaching experience
- Has excellent behaviour management skills
- Builds positive relationships and is a role model for the children they teach
- Is able to work closely with, and values the contribution of parents
- Supports the aspirational ethos of the school
