At Allens Croft, our aim is to give our children the means of exploring, appreciating and understanding the world in which we live and how it has evolved.  By stimulating their interest of other times and places, children develop an awareness of themselves in relation to their community and the part they can play in it.

We teach History and Geography through themed topics each half term. An overview of the topics for this year can be viewed below. 

To encourage the children to engage with each topic, a themed project pack is sent home every half term. These can also be viewed in each Year group area.  Don't forget to bring your projects back by the last week of the half term to showcase your home learning to everyone.
