Early Help focuses on building on a family’s strengths and interests and offers positive, practical support to help manage difficult issues and challenges.

Providing early help to our pupils and families at Allens Croft Primary School means we can change a child's developmental path and improve outcomes for children, families, and communities, providing support as soon as a problem emerges, at any point in a child’s life. In order to support in the right way, we work with you to identify what you are worried about, what is working well and what needs to happen.

Parent/Carer Workshops:

NHS Workshops:

Are you pregnant or recently given birth? Do you have any questions you want to ask to our expert clinicians? Our ever-popular Ask the Midwife sessions are back and the next one is due to take place at the end of this month (Tuesday 31 May).

The theme of discussion is Pelvic health: what is it? where is it? how do I know if mine is working ok? How do I relax it? How do I get it stronger? Why is it so important? Do you have pain within the lower back, hips, bottom or  inner thigh area since pregnancy? It's your opportunity to ask the questions you want answered related to this, as well as pregnancy, birth and post-natal health.

We have midwives from Birmingham Women’s Hospital, Heartlands Hospital and Good Hope Hospital as well as Consultant Obstetricians available to answer questions on your labour and birth.

Date for your diary: Tuesday 31 May, 10.30am - 11.30am
