The Brandwood Centre (just over the road from our school) are opening their doors this Friday morning (14^th January) from 9am-11am, for coffee and cake or if you prefer tea and biscuits for anyone who would like to pop along for a friendly chat about the courses and services they have on offer.  We have attached their free programme of courses and other opportunities, for example courses in First Aid, Well-Being and Mental Health along with a range of exciting volunteering opportunities which will all run from the Brandwood Centre between January and March.  If you see something you’d like to find out more about, join them for a chat with one of their team, they are a friendly bunch! 

They are offering our parents/carers of Allens Croft School priority booking on any of their courses before they are advertised to the wider community later on Friday afternoon, so it’s a great opportunity to get first dibs on anything you fancy signing up for. 

To be eligible for their free courses you do need to be aged 19 and over, living in Birmingham or Solihull and currently unemployed or inactive (not currently in work & not receiving a job seeking benefit support). So why not treat yourself and put yourself first this Friday morning, grab a cuppa and see what they have to offer you.
