Parent/Carer Feedback

“We said, we did!”

In our most recent feedback from parents, it was identified that parents would like to "know more about the provision in place" for their child and "what their progress and attainment looks like."

Class teachers now co-produce pupil profiles with children and parents and targets are shared termly either via Seesaw or in printed version so that parents feel more informed during consultations and meet the teacher events.

The Graduated Approach at Allens Croft Primary School

At Allens Croft Primary School, all children's needs are assessed and provision is planned and delivered as a graduated approach, beginning with high quality  teaching that is scaffolded to meet the diverse needs of all learners.

There are 3 stages known as ‘waves’ that outline the provision that we provide for our pupils. Information about each wave can be found below.

Pupil Profiles, Individual Target Plans, SEND Support Provision Plans and EHCPs

Pupil Profiles - All children with special educational needs or disabilities have a one-page pupil profile which outlines their strengths, difficulties, aspirations and provision required in order for them to thrive. Profiles are co-produced with the children in school and shared with parents for feedback and annotation. These are reviewed termly and are accessible to those working directly with the child.
