Head Teacher's Welcome
Dear Families of Allens Croft and Prospective Families,
I am extremely honoured and excited to take on the role of Head Teacher at Allens Croft Primary School. Having been here since 2011 and now as the Head Teacher, I have been part of an amazing team of staff, children, parents and carers and governors for many years, who all work tirelessly to ensure that Allens Croft Primary School is a positive, welcoming and successful place for all. I am excited to further connect and develop this wonderful community and look forward to working closely with you and your children to provide the best educational experience possible. I would also like to welcome Catherine Blackwood, as our new Deputy Head Teacher, to our school community and look forward to further building the school’s offer alongside the staff team, families and governors.
Vision and Goals for the School
At Allens Croft Primary School, our vision is to create a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential. We are committed to fostering a love for learning, promoting respect and kindness, and ensuring that our pupils develop the skills they need to succeed in the future.
Our goals include:
Enhancing academic and personal achievement
Encouraging creativity and critical thinking
Promoting physical and emotional well-being
Building strong partnerships with families and the community
I firmly believe that collaboration between the school and families is key to achieving our goals. I invite you to be an active part of your child's education by ensuring they attend school daily and on time, engaging with our wonderful staff team, participating in school events, and sharing your ideas and feedback. Open communication is essential, and I am always here to listen and support you.
Appreciation for the School's Community and Values
I would like to take this opportunity to express my appreciation for the strong values and sense of community that is evident at Allens Croft Primary School. It is clear that pupils are encouraged to be respectful, responsible, and resilient individuals, whilst following the rules of being ‘Ready, Safe and Kind.’ I am committed to upholding these values and building on the excellent work already being done.
