At Allens Croft Primary School, all staff are considered responsible for supporting the needs of pupils with SEND. Our staff are committed to regular, high-quality training to ensure that they have the knowledge and skills to better meet a wide range of pupil needs.

In the first instance, we recommend speaking to your child’s class teacher to see what support is currently in place and what additional support can be offered as part of wave 1 and 2 of the graduated response. Where this level of support has been implemented over a reasonable amount of time but has not been successful, a meeting with the SEND team may be needed to discuss specialist support. 

The SEND team consists of Mrs Kimberley, Miss Palmer and Mrs Hardy. Details about their roles can be found at the top of the SEND page.
