Allens Croft Primary is a friendly, vibrant and exciting school in Kings Heath, Birmingham. We currently have approximately 420 children on roll.

We are extremely fortunate to have purpose-built accommodation and extensive grounds, including our forest area and sensory areas.

Introduction to Allens Croft

We are a popular two form entry primary school, located in the Kings Heath area of Birmingham and have recently increased our Resource Base Provision. 

There are many different ethnic groups represented in our school, all of whom add to the rich culture of Allens Croft, where all are welcome.

We moved into our new school building in February 2007. There are extensive grounds and outdoor facilities as well as a modern building with many eco features designed to conserve energy and reduce running costs. The building was constructed by Balfour Beattie as part of the 'Transform Schools' project.

The school is an integral part of a purpose built centre incorporating South Birmingham Primary Care Trust, Allens Croft Nursery and our school provides education for children from 4 to 11 year olds.  The school has a very strong relationship with the nursery which helps us provide the most effective services for children and families.

An additional building was opened in April 2015 with 8 brand new classrooms to accommodate the school from moving from one form entry to two form entry. We recently have a further building to support the increase in pupil numbers in our Resource Base Provision. To further enhance our Creative Arts offer, we have a performing arts studio.

Allens Croft Primary School is a happy, caring school with creative learning at the centre of our provision. I am proud to be the Headteacher here, where children are at the heart of everything we do.

We are deeply proud of our reputation for making each child's experience at school unique and for personalising everything we do to best meet the needs of our children and our community.

The school is at the heart of the local community, and our impressive new buildings and a range of facilities is what the pupils, parents/carers and staff deserve.

We are part of an innovative development incorporating health, education and care in one building, with multi-agency working a core feature of life in school.

I hope the website gives a true flavour of Allens Croft: the well-behaved, inquisitive and hard-working pupils; the talented, welcoming staff who are passionate about achieving the very best for our children; the supportive and interested governors; and the caring and positive parents/carers and friends of the community who all make this school a very special and welcoming place to be. 

Our aim is to make learning enjoyable, allowing every individual to achieve their best and to nurture their talents, as well as giving them safety, security and the skills they will need to be responsible citizens and happy, caring adults in the future.
