P.E and Outdoor Learning
P.E updates
On Monday the 29th April 2019 Year 2 took part in a multi-skills event hosted by King Heath Sports Partnership. As part of the event the children did a number of sporting activities, such as bean bag toss, tennis skills and basketball dribble. All the children thoroughly enjoyed the event and it was lovely to meet a number of other schools, that were also taking part. We were really proud of the determination and passion that the children displayed. Well done Allens Croft!
Outdoor Learning updates
As part of our outdoor learning time we have been taking part in mini beast hunts. We searched the forest high and low to try and find some different creepy crawlies. In the grounds we found wood lice, ladybirds, bees and worms.
We also explored the grounds to collect sticks to create canes to hold up our growing broad bean plants. Look outside our classroom to see how the beans are getting on!
