What time does school start?

School begins at 8.50am, at this time all the classroom doors are opened so children can come into their classes and settle down for the day. The register is taken at 8.55am. Classroom doors close at 9.00am.


What do I do if my child is sick?

If your child is not well enough to attend school please call the school on 0121 675 2611 and leave a message on our absence line stating your child’s name, class and their reason for absence.


How do I apply for a school place?

To find out  how to apply for a school place please see the Birmingham City Council website. 


What is Forest School?

Forest School won’t just be concentrating on academic skills but also team building, reasoning and critical thinking skills. Forest School will be based outdoors, and children will be participating in activities such as planting trees, identifying plants and animals, den building and cooking over a fire. These activities will help your child to appreciate nature as well as build on creative skills.

How much do school dinners cost?

Our school meals cost £2.00 per day (£10 per week). This amount can be paid every Monday. 


Do you have any before and after school clubs?

The school runs a Before and After School Club called 'Jellybeans'. The times for 'Jellybeans' are as follows:


Before school: 7.30am to 8.50am
After school: 3.30pm to 5.30pm


The Before School session currently costs £4.00 and includes a breakfast of your child's choice. The After School session costs £3.50 per hour or any part of an hour and includes a snack and a drink. There is a £1.00 session reduction for each additional child where more than one child from a family attends. In the After School session, children will be able to participate in a range of activities and can also complete their homework should you wish them to.
