Online Learning and Safety

Online learning will be from Tuesday 5th January, 2021


Home Learning Activities

Your child should be accessing their home learning through Seesaw learning platform on a daily basis.  


If you have requested a hard copy of your child’s learning activities, this will be sent home in the post.


Website links and Apps are also shared on this platform and our website for children to use.


Please make sure you can get on the learning platform by checking the log in details provided in your child’s purple home learning book.  If you have any trouble with this, please contact 


If your child can not complete the online learning tasks due to not being able to access the internet or technology, please let us know by contacting the school or sending an email.  Also, if you want to make sure your children are not overdoing screen time, then board or card games, drawing, reading, baking, helping with household chores and art/sports activities are also highly recommended.


 Each year group will provide an English and Maths task as well as a topic/project related task to complete each day and these will be shared on Seesaw. Please encourage your children to read a text (or share a story with them) every day.


Safer internet use:

As children may be spending more time online at home, please can we ask that you visit the website  The website has resources for families, young people and schools that will be of particular use at this time.  Childline (0800 11 11 or offers help and advice about a wide range of issues that children may experience. It has some great resources for children to access linked to their feelings at this difficult time, online safety and other worries they may have.
